From Rome to Global Impact: The Power of R.O.S.A.’s Partnerships

On October 10, 2026, R.O.S.A. had the honor of participating in the AAC Worldwide Conference 2026 in Rome, where our President and Program Director, Mariarosy Calleri, shared how partnerships can help organizations grow, reach more communities, and create meaningful social impact.

Thanks to our partnership with the American Club of Rome, this gathering offered an opportunity to connect with professionals, community leaders, and organizations from different backgrounds.

The conference left us with one important takeaway: partnerships are powerful accelerators of organizational growth, outreach, and social impact.

A Shared Commitment to Making a Difference

Throughout the conference, speakers explored topics ranging from community building and international networking to technology, leadership, and cultural understanding.

Silvia Zamarripa highlighted the role of events in building community partnerships, while Nabil Boulous and Jaylee Stringham shared perspectives on empowering the next generation of leaders. Mariarosy brought these conversations together by emphasizing how collaboration can foster joint social impact.

For R.O.S.A., this message reflects something we see through our work every day. When organizations share their knowledge, resources, and experience, they can create opportunities that would be difficult to achieve alone.

And the value of those partnerships becomes most visible when they lead to action.

Turning Global Partnerships into Educational Opportunities

One example is our Training Teachers for Tomorrow (TTT) Academy program, where international collaboration supports digital education and teacher professional development.

Through partnerships with the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Zanzibar, the Zanzibar Institute of Education, and Cisco Networking Academy, R.O.S.A. is working to expand learning opportunities for local educators.

With funding from the Cisco Foundation Cash Grant 2026, we are also developing TTT Academy, an e-learning platform designed to help teachers continue developing their skills, access educational resources, and share knowledge with their peers.

This is what meaningful partnership can look like: bringing local educational leadership and global resources together to support long-term learning and sustainable community development.

Connecting People and Knowledge Across Borders

Our global partnerships also extend to universities and international organizations that help strengthen R.O.S.A.’s work behind the scenes.

Through university partnerships with institutions such as Bocconi University and Temple University Rome Campus, students can apply their academic knowledge through internships while contributing to research, communication, and organizational development.

Across our ReCoding programs in Zanzibar, Thailand, and Vietnam, we also work with local communities, educators, and volunteers to support digital literacy, creative learning, and cultural exchange.

Whether it is a teacher developing new skills, a student discovering an interest, or a volunteer sharing knowledge across cultures, these experiences remind us that sustainable social impact begins with people working together.

Growing Our Impact, Together

The AAC Worldwide Conference was a celebration of the relationships that make collective progress possible. It also reminded us of the importance of continuing to build and strengthen those connections.

We are grateful to our global partners, from educational institutions and technology organizations to businesses and community networks, who share our commitment to inclusive education, empowerment, and sustainable local development.

Because the true value of a partnership is not simply in the connections we make, but in the opportunities we create together.
