The interns will be constantly supervised by the R.O.S.A team made up of professionals with 20+ years of experience. These in-person and virtual part-time internships offer invaluable experience in critical functions like nonprofit marketing and communications, directly supporting the growth of our ReCoding Future international programs. Tailored as virtual opportunities for university students, these roles are designed to empower students and teachers through digital literacy, leadership & entrepreneurship, fostering global impact.
Qualifications for a Nonprofit Internship
- Academic background in Marketing and/or Communications
- Knowledge of Web Design, Social Media Management, Content creation
- Interest in Social Change through education, local development, and community building
- Communication, graphic design, video making and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and respect deadlines
- Teamwork skills and global mindset
Specifics
- Place of work: remote (or hybrid for candidates based in Rome)
- Duration and effort: 3 months with 12 hours per week
- Fee/Reimbursement: Unpaid
- A detailed reference letter will be provided at the end of the internship

Teaching Internship
As a teaching intern, you’ll play a vital role in empowering students by helping them develop valuable skills for their personal and professional growth. Program Development Assistant Internship
Support Operations and Drive Impact Behind the Scenes
Join the heart of our programs and help shape the daily operations that make our initiatives successful. As a Program Development Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Program Director to coordinate schedules, manage resources, and streamline operations — gaining practical skills in project management and nonprofit administration.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating schedules for teachers, volunteers, and onsite activities
Assisting the Program Director with day-to-day operations
Helping with administration, bookkeeping, and reporting
Supporting the planning and execution of projects to ensure smooth delivery
Share Stories, Build Awareness, and Inspire Change
If you’re passionate about digital storytelling and want to make a difference through content, this role is perfect for you. As a Social Media & Content Creation Intern, you’ll craft compelling visuals, engaging posts, and powerful stories that highlight the impact of our programs and connect communities worldwide.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating photo, video, and written content for communication channels and reports
Posting on social media platforms to raise awareness and engage audiences
Writing blogs and feature stories that showcase program highlights
Developing articles for newsletters to update supporters and stakeholders
