Mariarosy Calleri
President | Program Director & International Relations Rep
Mariarosy Calleri is an educator with a background in journalism and documentary production. She has been teaching for over 25 years Media Literacy and Filmmaking in the communication departments of Italian and American Universities. In 2009 she was appointed Ambassador and Mentor of Female Entrepreneurship to the European Commission- DG Industry and Enterprise. In 2014 she co-founded R.O.S.A. - Remove Obstacles to Social Awareness with the mission of fighting education poverty on a global level and contributing to social change through education and entrepreneurship. Since then she has been designing and directing experiential learning programs in Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia.
Dennis Andrew Usher
Vice President ICT Expert and Digital Media Instructor
Dennis Usher is an ICT expert and digital media instructor with 40 years international experience in the new media and education sectors. He taught digital content creation at Italian and American Universities in Rome until 2020 when he decided to certify as a life coach. Since then he has been coaching teachers, students and professionals in order to support and foster their personal and career development. He leads meditation retreats in Africa and Asia to help intergenerational participants restore and improve their phsycophisical wellbeing.
Michele Usher
Certified DIgital Literacy Instructor & Web Developer
Michele Usher graduated from Bocconi University in Milan with a degree in Economics, Management and Computer Science. He is a certified instructor in Python, Digital Literacy and Game Design. He has gained experience in both the profit and non profit sector by teaching for the global franchise Algorithmics as well as for R.O.S.A.'s international programs. Currently, he is pursuing a Master in Human-Centered AI and designing custom software for innovative green start-ups.
Jennah Nguyen
Marketing & Social Media Specialist
Jennah Nguyen has a BA in Marketing from CSU East Bay. With over 10 years of experience in social media marketing across various industries such as technology, fashion, ecommerce, and travel, she currently works as a freelance Social Media Consultant and Event Planner/Coordinator based in California.
Kayla Liu
IT Expert and Project Manager
Kayla Liu is an Applied Scientist with dual MS degrees in Computer Science and Chemical Engineering, and 5+ years of R&D experience turning AI/ML into real-world impact. Passionate about using technology to solve meaningful problems—from education and social good to consumer and commercial products. Enjoy leading cross-functional projects that bridge research and application.
Karla Pacheco
Digital Content Creator
Karla Pacheco is a multimedia creative, consultant, and community leader. She graduated with a B.A. in New Media Studies with dual concentrations in Digital Media Design and Integrated Communications Media, as well as a minor in Film Studies from Eastern Connecticut State University. She has been freelancing both remotely and in person across varying industries since 2015, gaining experience in adapting her skills for different international clients.

Rosangela Bruno is a Website Strategist with a strong background in marketing and user experience. She holds a B.A. in Advertising and a UX/UI Design certification, combining creativity with technical expertise. Driven by her passion for technology and digital strategy, Rosangela focuses on the website ecosystem and SEO optimization, helping businesses and organizations create websites that truly connect with their audiences and drive measurable results.
Svetlozara Zlatanova
Video Content Maker
Svetlozara Zlatanova collaborates with R.O.S.A. as a video content maker, contributing to the creation of educational video tutorials and engaging digital content to help the organization scale its programs and implement a waterfall impact strategy among the local communities where they operate through government and institutional partnerships. Currently studying Law at New Bulgarian University, she combines her sense of creativity with a strong interest in human rights and communication.
Süha Berk Akansu
Marketing & Strategic Partnerships Intern
Süha Berk Akansu collaborates with R.O.S.A. as a Marketing & Strategic Partnerships Intern, contributing to the development of innovative communication strategies and meaningful international collaborations. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Marketing Management at Bocconi University in Milan, with a focus on Product and Service Management, he combines creativity and strategic thinking to strengthen R.O.S.A.’s visibility and network across Europe. His goal is to support the organization’s mission of promoting youth empowerment, inclusion, and positive social impact.
Alessandra Amici
Marketing & Communication Intern
Alessandra Amici graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Perugia and is currently pursuing a Master in Marketing Management at Bocconi University in Milan, with a focus on Product and Service Management. She collaborates with R.O.S.A. in developing marketing and communication strategies and graphic content for enhancing brand awareness and communicating the social impact of the organization’s international initiatives to a worldwide audience through their social media channels.
