World Dream Day: Giving Young People the Tools to Dream Bigger
Every young person has dreams about who they might become, what they might create, and the difference they could make. But having a dream and having the opportunity to pursue it are not always the same thing.
At R.O.S.A., much of our work begins with closing that gap.
On World Dream Day, celebrated every September 25, people around the world are encouraged to recognize their goals, share their ideas, and take steps toward making them real. For us, it is also an opportunity to reflect on something at the heart of our mission: young people need more than encouragement to dream. They need access to the tools, education, and support that help those dreams grow.
Opportunity Changes What Young People Can Imagine
Access to technology, creative learning, mentorship, and quality education can shape what young people believe is possible for their future. That is why R.O.S.A.’s programs focus on creating opportunities for children and students in underserved communities to explore, learn, and build confidence.
Through technology and digital literacy, young people can develop skills that increasingly shape education and the future of work.
Through art, music, creativity, and soft skills, they have space to express themselves, communicate ideas, and discover strengths that may not always emerge in a traditional classroom.
And through mentorship and global volunteering, students can meet people who encourage their curiosity, listen to their ideas, and remind them that their ambitions matter.

World Dream Day is built around the idea that dreams become meaningful when we begin putting them into action. On this day, we are reminded that dreaming is important, but helping someone move closer to that dream is even more powerful.
Whether through global education, digital skills, creative learning, volunteering, or mentorship, each opportunity can help a young person see more possibilities for themselves and their community.
Because big dreams often start with something simple: someone opening a door.
At R.O.S.A., our mission is to open more of them. We believe youth empowerment begins by making those opportunities more accessible. When young people are given the space to learn, experiment, create, and connect with others, their dreams begin to feel less distant.
