At R.O.S.A., our mission to create inclusive, accessible learning opportunities for children in underserved communities continues to grow through the dedication of passionate individuals. Today, we are excited to introduce two new team members who will play a key role in expanding our global impact through strategic development, partnerships, and program growth.
Meet Dr. Hewan Asfeha, Strategic Development Manager
We are proud to welcome Dr. Hewan Asfeha as our new Strategic Development Manager.
A dedicated physician and public health professional, Dr. Hewan earned her medical degree from the University of Gondar (Ethiopia) in 2017 and later completed her International Master’s in Public Health at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2021.
With over nine years of experience in healthcare and nonprofit management, she brings deep expertise in:
- Fundraising strategy
- Grant writing and donor engagement
- Project and program management
- Supporting NGOs in securing sustainable funding
Dr. Hewan has worked closely with organizations to design and implement community-driven initiatives, helping expand access to essential services and long-term development programs.
After recently relocating to Rome, she connected with R.O.S.A. and was immediately inspired by our mission—particularly our ReCoding Future program, which empowers children in Africa and Southeast Asia through digital literacy and student leadership.
Her passion for innovative, sustainable solutions and her commitment to supporting vulnerable populations will help strengthen our partnerships and scale our impact globally.
We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the meaningful contributions she will bring to our organization.
Meet Eda Putgul, Partnerships & Development Team Member
We are also excited to introduce Eda Putgul, who joins our Partnerships & Development team.
Eda brings valuable experience working with international organizations and multicultural teams, with a focus on:
- International program coordination
- Strategic partnerships
- Cross-cultural collaboration
- Project development and expansion
Her work centers on building collaborative solutions that help organizations grow their reach and amplify their social impact. Through her experience, she has developed a strong interest in advancing education and social initiatives on a global scale.
At R.O.S.A., Eda will play a key role in identifying new opportunities for partnerships and program development, helping us continue to remove barriers to education and raise social awareness worldwide.
