PROGRAM

Our multi-disciplinary hybrid education program focuses on teaching the competencies needed to excel in the world of software development and other strategic skills for the 21st-century job market such as leadership, entrepreneurship, and Design ThinkingOur program seeks to drive meaningful and sustainable social change by offering African Youth future employment opportunities without having to leave their countries while strengthening Volunteers’ resumes with service-learning experience and an international network.

 

Detailed Overview 

Beginning in late June, our 3 part program encompasses 6 weeks of active engagement and the opportunity to participate in follow-up support and mentoring.

4 WEEKS PROGRAM IN AFRICA: 

  • 2 WEEKS AT KWETU BILINGUAL SCHOOL IN ZANZIBAR, TANZANIA

  •  2 WEEKS AT GHOMME HIGH SCHOOL IN BAGAMOYO, DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA

PART 3

ONLINE PROGRAM:

The program continues online during the school year with a comprehensive curriculum covering the entire coding spectrum, starting with the fundamentals of programming and progressing to more advanced topics such as software development and machine learning. At the end of each course the students will obtain certifications.
