GHOMME SECONDARY SCHOOL Tanzania
Ghomme Secondary School is a co-educational boarding school serving students from 13 to 21 living in the coastal Bagamoyo area. The school is committed to delivering excellence in education to its students and its community. The secondary school has 200 students living on campus and following the National Curriculum of Tanzania enriched by business and digital literacy courses. The school offers also afternoon courses for adults and working students. Plans are in motion to create a computer lab and a sports academy .
KWETU BILINGUAL SCHOOL Zanzibar, Tanzania
Kwetu Bilingual School was established by the NGO Umoja-Network for Africa in January 2013. The school was first planned as a community learning center but today it has a kindergarten, a primary and a secondary school with a total of almost 200 students following both the British Curriculum and the National Curriculum of Tanzania. In the afternoons they provides language courses for adult and students attending governement public schools. Kwetu Bilingual School has also literacy training programs for women and as a member of the Eco-School Indian Ocean network, they implements projects concerning environmental awareness globally and locally.
